- John Starr/Time Commander was created by Bob Haney and Ramona Fradon, first appearing in The Brave and the Bold #59. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, John Starr/Time Commander first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Super Sons #6 by Peter Tomasi and Jorge Jiménez.
