John Stewart is one of Earth's Green Lanterns.

History

He was present at the Battle of Metropolis the day Nightwing activated a device that eradicated 90% of the world's super powers.

In the year 2040, Stewart was one of the few super heroes legally allowed to have powers, acting as an agent for the US government. He was sent after Dick Grayson, who went rogue after his son was discovered to have superpowers and taken into custody. Stewart almost managed to captured Grayson before he was saved by Wally West.
