Synopsis for "The House the Cards Built"
Within the confines of Arkham Asylum, The Joker tells a story regarding The Riddler: One day, whilst robbing an art gallery, he is confronted by one of his would-be hostages, causing him to become infatuated with her. After the robbery, he begins to devise various schemes to court the woman, only to be rejected each time. Seeing this woman as an extremely difficult riddle to solve, he deduces that the only way to win her over is to give up his life of crime and become the man she wants him to be. He finally succeeds and she agrees to date him. However, once he has begun a relationship with her, he is stunned to realise that he was never genuinely interested in the woman... He was only interested in solving the riddle of her courtship.
