The Joker was a supervillain with a trick-based motif.

History

He joined with other enemies of the Super Friends to create the Jesters' League of America, who had banded together to humiliate the Super Friends using pranks during their crimes. To publicize their acts of mischief, Harley Quinn masqueraded as a reporter. The Super Friends figured out the ruse and followed Quinn to the Jesters' League base of operations. While the villains had rigged their base with practical jokes in anticipation, they were still caught off guard when the Super Friends came in through the back door. The pranksters ran back into their trap room, pranking themselves and allowing the Super Friends to take them into police custody.
