Little Joe, also known as the Joker, is a mysterious homicidal child who teamed up with Crytoon.
History
A "weird clown" dropped Joe off at a trailer in the desert two miles outside of Gotham City. He has implied that the clown kidnapped him from his birthday party. The man living at the trailer was unable to control Joe, who appears to have gouged out one of his eyes, and was too afraid of him to get rid of him.
One day Crytoon, who had killed the police officers sent to murder him and escaped a prison transfer van, took refuge in a shack near the trailer. Joe was fascinated by Crytoon and gave the escaped criminal a picture of him. Crytoon drew clown makeup on the drawing and changed the signature on it from "Joe" to "Little Joker". Joe painted his face to match the drawing while laughing maniacally.
Later two more cops came to the trailer looking for Crytoon, who killed one and mortally wounded the other. Joe finished off the injured cop by slowly pushing a knife through his temple and then burst out laughing, which even Crytoon was slightly disturbed by. Crytoon went to leave and Joe asked to come with him; the man in the trailer also begged Crytoon to take Joe with him, promising that he would hide the bodies and never tell anyone he was there. After a moment's consideration Crytoon agreed and they left in a stolen police car. Joe asked where they were going and Crytoon responded "To the amusement park."[1]
