The Joker was the archnemesis of Batman.
History
Joker kidnapped Alfred Pennyworth. He was pursued by Batman and Nightwing, but Joker was able to severely injure Nightwing, ending his superhero career. Despite this setback, Batman caught up and saved Pennyworth.[1]
Joker later died; however, he was able to resurrect himself and possessed Tim Drake. Drake was freed from his possession, killing The Joker for good.[2]
