The Joker is a needy and sadistic enemy of Batman who likes to think himself his greatest enemy. After eight decades of not being respected by Batman, he and an army of escaped Phantom Zone inmates razed Gotham City in revenge.
History
After Batman refuses to acknowledge and recognise that the Joker is his greatest enemy and that he hates him, he ceases to work with his fellow Gotham City villains, except for Harley Quinn, and gathers an army of villains from the Phantom Zone to destroy Gotham City.
