Synopsis for "Violence at Veracruz"

Jonah Hex along with El Papagayo and his bandits escaped the Mexican armies fort with Austrian Archduke's wife Carlota's gold collection. However, they were eventually stopped by a downed bridge where Jonah was able to get the better of El Papagayo's greed. Hex soon later discovered that the "gold" was actually painted lead for Colonel Sanchez who assigned Hex the task had already transported the real gold three days earlier. Jonah moving the fake gold was only a diversion for awaiting bandits like El Papagayo.
