Jonathan Crane, also known as Scarecrow, is a disgraced psychiatrist turned into a crazed supervillain.

History

Early in his career, Jonathan Crane was a psychiatrist who was doing research at the G.C.P.D.. Eventually, he became obsessed with other people's fears and tried to fight off Batman while under his new Scarecrow persona. His descent into madness became famous around Gotham City, damaging the reputation of its police force. As Harleen Quinzel tried to find a candidate for her research, she came in contact with Crane. Just like all the rest of her patients, Crane was much more interested in telling her about who he became rather than the man he used to be.
