Doctor Jonathan Tyme is the party-loving, disco-obsessed, and ruthless Doctor Tyme, a time traveler who possesses a rare mineral called continuinium that can warp time. Picking various people from throughout history, he runs an eternal disco party in a pocket dimension, and has been an enemy of Niles Caulder and the Doom Patrol.

Jonathan Tyme began researching the Continuinium, a material capable of altering time, so Tyme used the material and the Continuinium to turn his head into a clock and became a disco fanatic time traveler while throwing a party without end in its dimension with guests from many eras. While traveling, Tyme took the name "Doctor Tyme" and became a fan of Rita Farr, a famous actress.^[1]

While at his everlasting party, Tyme was visited by Rita, Cliff Steele, a robot man, and Jane, a woman with 64 split personalities. Tyme was happy to see Rita and admitted to being a huge fan as he welcomed the team to his party. Tyme tried to flirt with Rita and she flirted with him too while Jane and Cliff watched.

Tyme invited Rita to skate on the floor and she tried to take her head, but Tyme avoided her and explained to her about her temporal power with the Continuinium and how she freezes people, since some of her guests tried to steal her material.

Jonathan Tyme Doom Patrol TV Series 002 — "I said, you´re out of the party."

When Cliff ruined the music records, Tyme froze him and tried to kill him, but Rita used her elastic powers to get Tyme's "helmet", but they discovered that it was his head, which caused Tyme's death, and all the guests tried. to take the material, but Rita went back in time to revive Tyme, who was upset, and told Rita that she would never be anyone, before transporting the team back to Doom Manor to continue their party.^[1]
