Jor-El posed on Earth as Lex Luthor and helped found the Justice League.
History
The once-Kryptonian scientist predicted the doom of his world, but his soft words did not reach those who made war. While he was testing his new rocket, Krypton exploded, leaving him the only survivor.
He headed for Earth where he went to work for Lex Luthor. After an accident with experimental jet fuel forced him to show his true self, Luthor made a deal: Jor-El would take his place, if Luthor could explore the stars with his spaceship.
Notes
- Jor-L was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, first appearing in the Superman comic strip. However, the JLA: Destiny version of Jor-L first appeared in JLA: Destiny #1 by John Arcudi and Tom Mandrake.
