- Kal-El. My son. You have killed.
- — Jor-El src
History
Jor-El appeared to his son, Kal-El, after he murdered Green Arrow. He told Superman that he killed, and that no matter what the circumstances of the situation were, there was always a choice not to kill. Kal tries to defend his actions and put the blame on Bruce, but Jor states that Bruce would have humanity determine its own path and that Bruce is right. He makes one last plea for Kal not to kill Bruce, but it falls on deaf ears as Superman flies away. Jor apologizes for unleashing Superman onto Earth, and comforts the Kents.
