Jotunheim. The massive fortress in Qurac was said to have been built by giants. It wasn't, but it's a nice story.
Jotunheim is a fortress built in the mountainous southern region of Qurac.
History
New Earth
It was built by the Germans during World War II. The name "Jotunheim" is a reference to the "Land of the Giants" in Norse mythology, and they claimed only a race of giants could have built it. The terrain makes aerial assault extremely difficult, and the only entrance is a small door at the very bottom. It is only accessible by a small bridge that can be raised or lowered at will.[1]
Jihad
The terrorist group Jihad occupy Jotunheim when President Marlo hires them to attack America.[1] Chimera, Ravan, and Rustam have their own sleeping quarters. Djinn is plugged into a computer at night, Jaculi sleeps on the roof, and Manticore makes his lair in the bottom of an abandoned elevator shaft. The facility is also equipped with a barracks housing soldiers, and laboratories designed to create new superhumans. Amanda Waller sends the Suicide Squad to attack Jotunheim. They infiltrate the living quarters using trans-dimensional portals, and slaughter most of the Jihad. The Jihad's leader Rustam escapes.[2]

On Earth 55, Jotunheim was used as an impenetrable stronghold against the hordes of the Anti-Living for survivors, including refugees Aerie and Wink, led there by Raza Kattuah and Manticore.[3] The fortress was attacked by a horde of the Anti-Living, led by a corrupted Black Adam.[4] Wink tried to deal with Black Adam by teleporting him under the mountain, but he used his great strength to break the fortress in half, and Nightshade, one of the Anti-Living, used her powers to breach the fortress. The survivors were saved by the arrival of the Justice League of America, who carried them away in the cracked fortress away, to be decanted in safety.[5]
DC Extended Universe
In this reality, Jotunheim was built in the Caribbean nation of Corto Maltese by escaping Nazi scientists in the wake of World War II. The staff worked diligently for decades, under the watching protection of a series of pro-American governments, on something called "Project Starfish." However, in the 21st Century, Corto Maltese gained a new government, and so the American intelligence services, worried at what the new regime could do with its contents, authorized Amanda Waller to send Task Force X to attack the fortress and destroy Project Starfish.
In the wake of the operation, Jotunheim was destroyed, as well as Project Starfish, and a sizeable chunk of the nearby residential district.[6]
