Jules Feiffer (b. January 26, 1929 – d.January 17, 2025) was an award-winning American writer and cartoonist who wrote for Will Eisner's The Spirit newspaper comics from the mid-1940s to the mid-1950s. He was also the author of the influential 1965 nonfiction book The Great Comic Book Heroes.
