- Well, well, well. And on today of all days. Do you remember my early work? Flawed but it showed promise. Just like you. As your skills improved, I perfected mine. Starting with seasons, and moving through the weeks, I became stronger. My work more elaborate. Days were the secret, Batman. And the end of days is coming. I was there at your beginning, and I will be there at your end.

Julian Day, better known as Calendar Man, is a villain who times his crimes thematically to certain holidays throughout the year.
History
He is obsessed with the quirks of the calendar; even his real name is a play on the Julian and Gregorian calendars.
Batman: Arkham Origins
On Christmans Eve during the second year of Batman's crime fighting career, Day was captured by Batman and arrested by the GCPD. The GCPD took full credit for the arrest, not believing that Batman was real. However, on the same night, he was released by Joker (disguised as Black Mask), moments before being executed in the gas chamber.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
During the events of Arkham Asylum, Batman came across Day's opened cell door, with the interior covered with different pages from a calendar; however, Day was not actually seen during that time.
Batman: Arkham City
After being transferred to Arkham City, Day occupied the Solomon Wayne Courthouse, capturing anyone who entered it and imprisoning them until the next holiday, when he would murder them. However, Two-Face invaded the courthouse with a small army and overpowered Day, locking him in the basement where he sat and occupied himself by reciting a rhyme about month lengths.
Depending on the date, Calendar Man will make mention of a different murder he did on that holiday. In fact, there are twelve major holidays he mentions; if you talk to him on all twelve of those exact dates, the player will be awarded the "Story Teller" achievement/trophy. The dates are as followed:
- New Years Day (January 1)
- Valentine's Day (February 14)
- St. Patrick's Day (March 17)
- April Fools Day (April 1)
- Mother's Day (second Sunday of May)
- Father's Day (second Sunday of June)
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Feast Day of St. Roch (August 16)
- Labor Day (first Monday of November)
- Halloween (October 31)
- Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday of November)
- Christmas (December 25)
After talking to Calendar Man on every holiday listed above, the next time Batman visits him, Julian Day will be gone. The glass containing him will be shattered, and Day will not make anymore appearances for the rest of the game.
Calendar Man also delivers a special message if the console\computer clock is set to December 13, 2004, the day the game's developer Rocksteady was founded.
Batman: Arkham Knight
In a hideout at Drescher near the militia HQ, Batman finds Calendar Man's diary, detailing crimes he committed on holidays ranging from National Hugging Day (January 21) to World Peace Day (September 21) and a plan to kill Batman on Halloween, only for the October 31 entry to be "Damn Scarecrow" for foiling his plans after releasing his Fear Toxin all over Gotham. Calendar Man is also present as a bystander when Batman executes his Knightfall protocol and fakes his death.
