• The Nazi villain, Colonel Sodom was last seen in The Shadow #5.
• In Justice, Inc, the first Avenger pulp story by Paul Ernst, Fergus "Mac" MacMurdie was actually Richard Benson's first recruit for Justice, Inc. Mac's family was killed by racketeers (prior to the story's start), which made him sympathize with Benson's plight. In this comic however, Mac's wife is killed due to Colonel Sodom's germ serum.
