Synopsis for "Life of Purpose"
Iris West tells her nephews that Barry Allen disappeared with Justice League Incarnate. She initially wasn't worried, as superheroes can sometimes be away on missions for weeks at a time, but with the news that the Justice League is dead, she's afraid. Wally promises her that they will find him, but in the meantime they need to deal with the supervillains who are taking advantage of the League's absence. He takes Wallace out on a patrol around the world to keep the younger hero's mind off the situation, cracking jokes and expressing hope along the way to prevent their fear and worry paralyzing them. After he and Wallace split up, Wally takes a moment to visit Barry's statue outside the Flash Museum and feel concerned for his missing mentor, then runs off to respond to the next distress call.
