Synopsis for "Galaxy Jest"

The Joker speeds away from the scene of a crime with Batman in hot pursuit. Just as the Caped Crusader reaches him, he dematerializes into the sky: intergalactic warlord Mongul has teleported him away to his spaceship. He wants the clown to amuse him in his gladiatorial arena but they are not amused by his jokes.

Batman calls in The Flash to patrol Gotham City to find the Joker Venom time bombs littering the city. Superman and Wonder Woman head into outer space to Mongul in the process of killing The Joker by throwing him into empty space. Mongul takes out his rage on Superman and Wonder Woman comes to his aid.

On Earth, The Flash struggles to find any of the bombs that The Joker has planted, having checked every spot in Gotham a hundred times. Batman deduces that it's stored inside the Gotham Clock Tower and the Lasso of Truth compels him to admit it. Batman arrives too late and the bomb explodes but The Flash makes a wind tunnel that constrains it and Superman's mammoth lungs suck up the gas. He flies off to Mongul's battered ship and floods it, causing all of the hyperviolent space criminals to double over laughing.
