Justice League Detroit was an iteration of the superhero team the Justice League of America headquartered in Detroit, Michigan.

History

One of the League's number, Steel, was killed in action by an android created by Doctor Ivo. They later abandoned their Detroit headquarters, a Heywood Defense Industries facility, but it was retained as a potential safehouse for superheroes and decorated with statues in the Detroit Leaguers' likenesses.

Notes

• Justice League Detroit was created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton, first appearing in Justice League of America Annual #2. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Justice League Detroit first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in DC's Harley Quinn Romances #1 by Ivan Cohen and Fico Ossio.
