Synopsis for "The Mirror Crack'd, Part Five"
Wonder Woman buries the alternate Darkseid next to her counterpart's grave, and then leaves Apokolips with Superman and the Justice Alliance. Like the Justice League, their Martian Manhunter is able to use his telepathy to hone in on the source of the multiversal disturbances and lead them there.
During the trip, Superman tells Diana what happened to him in Overman's reality. The two Supermen and the Freedom Fighters were able to breach Vandal Savage's fortress and reach his inner sanctum. The alternate Vandal Savage was extremely long lived but not immortal, and was considerably aged. Although he believed the world was ending, he still murdered General Zod to ensure he would die first. Doomsday wanted to kill Savage in revenge but Superman convinced him to let Savage live to stand trial as Zod wished.
Suddenly, they all felt a psychic scream of pain and the Supermen rushed down to Savage's laboratory, where they found the J'onn J'onzz of that world. Savage had used his telepathic gifts to conquer the world, and then tortured him until he was at the brink of death. The alternate J'onn asked them to carry him to the courtyard of the castle where the Justice Alliance were waiting, having tracked Superman-D to the parallel world. The alternate J'onn had sensed Amazo at the centre of the disruptions and telepathically gave his counterpart the knowledge before dying. Using that, the Alliance set off for the source of the disturbances, and along the way they sensed Diana and picked her up.
The Justice Alliance's ship arrives at the ruins of the Mirrored Room to find the wreckage of the Infinity-1 Javelin and the Justice League and Amazo floating in the void.
