The Justice League International was a successor of the original disbanded Justice League.

History

The JLI was put together by Batman, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter to fight the incoming invasion of Earth by Darkseid. The team initially included Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Guy Gardner, Fire and Ice. Captain Marvel, Captain Atom and Rocket Red soon joined at later points.

Notes

• All of the founding members of JLI on Batman: The Brave and the Bold have been seen teamed up with Batman before the team was created, with Ice being the only exception.

Trivia

• While the lineup is similar the one from the mainstream comics, Jaime Reyes replaces Ted Kord as the Blue Beetle of the team.
