Synopsis for "Deadly Liaisons"

In Paris, Crimson Fox finds Rene Lafayette, her supposedly-dead husband. A master thief, he says he faked his death to ensure that he wouldn't compromise her career as a hero. But as Metamorpho discovers, an apparent villain called Le Fantome is also trying to find Lafayette. Meanwhile, in Kinshasa, Elongated Man, Sue Dibny and Taz find a statuesque being which does anything they tell it to. Back in Paris, Crimson Fox is torn between Metamorpho and her husband. When she goes to meet Rene, Le Fantome (who she does not know to be Lafayette's alter ego) is on the scene and she seemingly perishes in a fiery explosion.
