Synopsis for "Enemy of my Enemy"
In the Zamaron Science station, the Para-Angels attack, but the newly empowered Jessica Cruz blasts through them all. The other members of the crew watch with gaping mouths. Jessica has finally earned some respect from them, and Jessica's orders are followed. Blackfire is in awe of her, and likes Jessica more with every passing moment. Even Red Lantern Dex-Starr shows some gruding respect; and Okkult's moment of insubordination is short-lived. Irregardless, Jessica deputizes them all; they all all now Justice League.
Arla Hax readies the cloaked Astro-runner, and the quintet escape as the Para-Angels flood the station. Okkult remotely detonates an Ion Bomb and destroys the station filled with Para-Angels. Jessica Cruz is thankful, but still does not trust someone who so-thoroughly masks their identity.
Jessica's current plan is to return and infiltrate Sepulkore, though is is travelling out of the universe at super-luminal velocity. Still eight hours away, Jessica tires to sleep but hears the last message from Victor Stone playing on her ring.
Sepulkore is accelerating, and worse, Lex Luthor's doom formation is lighting up. Jessica has Hax show her the summoner, desperate to find a way to capture and retake her former team-mates, but it is broken, and the strange black cube they summoned sits idly.
On the bridge, Dex-Starr is determined to expose Okkult's secrets, and does so with his acidic bile. Beneath the burning Okkult armor is... Orion! Of the New Gods. And he panics — the armour was the only thing keeping the Eskaton away! Now the black cube reforms into a single giant creature, which seems eager to meet Orion.
