Synopsis for "Death of the Dark"

On Tamaran, Blackfire sends her army at the Justice League Odyssey, demanding that at least one dies — even her sister Starfire. Jessica Cruz shields them from deadly fire, but her Green Lantern Ring is quickly losing its charge. Starfire erupts with energy and threatens to kill everyone, but Cyborg intervenes and keeps Blackfire alive - though she is not greatful. They take their leave in the Skull Ship and Victor reveals that he had secretly raided Tamaran's databanks - and he now knows where Darkseid is.

On Aeolon, a broken Darkseid crawls in the dirt as the Justice League finds him. He's not much of a threat — but the Eskaton are.

Back on Tamaran, Rapture and the Order of Azrael have only narrowly missed the Justice League, but Blackfire is quite happy to tell them where they went. The Order will kill the Old Gods.

Presently the Justice League quartet battles the Eskaton; ironically saving the being that they had come to battle; Darkseid. They have little effect on the exotic matter animated by Anti-Life until Starfire taps into her new expanded powers and obliterates them. Darkseid warns that the Eskaton always return, but as a reward for their efforts he offers the truth, for the first time.
