Originally an escape pod from the Overmaster's ship. Shortly after his defeat, Wonder Woman visited it and, realizing how huge it was, decided that it was to become the new headquarters for the Justice League.

Justice League Refuge was a temporary base for the Justice League.

History

Originally an escape pod from the Overmaster's ship. Shortly after his defeat, Wonder Woman visited it and, realizing how huge it was, decided that it was to become the new headquarters for the Justice League.[1]

The Refuge was ultimately destroyed by White Martians[2] and replaced with the Watchtower moon base.
