When Clark and I founded the Justice League, we didn't govern people. We protected them. Plain and simple. Maybe... the world could use a team like that again. 
The Justice League Task Force is a team of heroes formed by Batman after the fall of Superman's regime in an effort to reorganize the world that Superman had broken. Recruiting all the heroes he trusted, the team would eventually be named and operated to stop the League of Assassins from filling the power vacuum and causing a mass human genocide.

- Though they had been working cooperatively as a team since Batman organized them, the Justice League Task Force wouldn't be named or even officially recognized as a team until Injustice 2 #18 by Green Arrow.
