Synopsis for "The Anniversary Party"
The Joker, disappointed that Batman is participating on a deep-space Justice League mission on the anniversary of their first meeting, invades the Watchtower with Harley Quinn to prepare a lethal anniversary party. The duo are successful, but are immediately confronted by the Leaguers on guard duty: Zatanna, Hawkgirl, the Crimson Avenger, and the Elongated Man.
At first, the Joker and Harley are able to escape their pursuers with unconventional tactics: adhesive gum to seal Zatanna's mouth, rubber chickens to plug up the Avenger's guns, and a quick feint to trick Hawkgirl into flying into a holding cell. However, the Elongated Man eventually finds the other three and rallies them to beat the intruders at their own game, without underestimating their lack of powers.
Together, the four Leaguers find Joker and Harley in a separate part of the Watchtower, baking a giant pie full of mousetraps for Batman's "pleasure". Zatanna quickly empties their pockets of all gadgets, while the Avenger uses a water pistol to foil their escape. Finally, Hawkgirl and the Elongated Man fling them into their own pie, just in time for Batman to return to the perfect anniversary gift: two of his worst enemies wrapped up and ready for arrest.
