Synopsis for "Make War No More!"
After saving her from terrorists,[1] Batman interrogates Dr. Light who was given a Justice League Signal Device without the team's knowledge. The Martian Manhunter studies the device and determines it to be superior to their own in design.
The team's actions and membership are criticized on Jack Ryder's Hot Seat, which Blue Beetle watches in the Secret Sanctuary and Maxwell Lord also views from his office in Washington, D.C. where he has a meeting with Booster Gold.
On a distant shore, the Gray Man sits alone until Doctor Fate offers him a cryptic warning and disappears.
In Bialya, the Champions of Angor—Blue Jay, Silver Sorceress, and Wandjina—rapidly demolish the tiny nation's nuclear arsenal, warning them that they will not allow destructive weapons like this to exist on any world. The heroes are greeted by the country's dictator Rumaan Harjavti, who welcomes them and allows them to use his country as a base of operations. The heroes then go to Israel to destroy their nuclear capabilities, an act which is televised. The Justice League flies off to the area to respond.
The Champions cause substantial destruction but feel justified when they reflect on the utter devastation that nuclear weapons visited on their homeworld Angor. Guy Gardner's power ring finds the heroes from Angor and, without alerting his colleagues, flies off to take them on. The rest of the League follows while Gardner proceeds to attack the heroes starting a fight that he cannot win. The League is hailed on their radio for violating Bialyan airspace and are ordered to retreat. They do and Harjavti proceeds to tell his guests about the nuclear stockpile in Russia.
