Synopsis for "War Games"
In the Batcave Jason Todd and Alfred Pennyworth are mourning over Damian Wayne's recent death, and debating whether or not they should place his costume on the showcase. While Jason feels was not mourned in the same way when he died, Alfred reassures him this is not the case, as Jason, in many ways, was more of a son for Bruce than Damian was. Suddenly, a stranger in a Batsuit knocks Red Hood unconscious and, before doing the same with Alfred, is warned by the butler that Batman will find for which he replies he hopes so. He then opens a secret vault filled with boxes marked with the Justice League members symbols and takes the "S" one.
Going late for her first reunion in the Justice League Rhonda Pineda arrives in the Watchtower but discovers Firestorm is the only one there. Meanwhile in Kahndaq the government has been at war with a terrorist group known as Sons of Adam for 3 days, but they still prohibit foreign intervention in the area, even with a American hostage situation on their hands. However two of the hostages are revealed to be Superman and Wonder Woman in disguise, and they quickly defeat all the enemies, with the fight being broadcast worldwide. Upon seeing the notices with Aquaman, Batman immediately requests Cyborg to locate them.
At the same time Wonder Woman is talking with Superman about using their powers to help the entire world as he ensures to have resigned himself only to inspire others not intervene. The conversation is cut short by Batman's arrival. He sees similarities between Diana's words an one of a villain and how their almost omnipotent powers will make millions afraid of what they might do together. He then reveals the true reason behind the Batcave attack; that it was meant to hurt Superman. An angry Wonder Woman proceeds to question him about it.
In the Watchtower Firestorm and Atom are searching for food in the kitchen, when both are subdued by Despero, wearing a Kryptonite ring. He then questions where the Justice League is.
