Synopsis for "Justice League: Part Four"

Victor finally comes to in the Red Room of S.T.A.R. Labs, notices his now cyborg body and is confused. His cybernetic operating system, which his father has set to auto command until control can be transferred to Victor safely, detects unassimilated data. It reaches out from Victor’s cyborg left arm and downloads tech files Responsometer developed by Doctor William Magnus, A-Maze operating system developed by Professor Anthony Ivo, B-Maze operating system developed by an unidentified individual, and White Dwarf Stabilizer developed by graduate student Ryan Choi. Silas urges Victor not to fight the programming. All of a sudden a group of Parademons bursts in and attacks the group, and Victor uses his newly discovered White Noise Cannon to destroy them. He then sees himself in a mirror, which takes him aback. He then jumps out of a hole in the roof, blaming his father for his new body.

Meanwhile the Justice League questions Aquaman's intentions. Aquaman says he found the Parademon he dispatched in the ocean. The Parademon set off a device that opened a hole allowing more Parademons through. Aquaman suspects the heroes have gathered to fight them. He again mentions them having no leader, with Batman and Green Lantern trying to claim that role. Aquaman proposes he should be leader since he’s the rightful heir to the throne of Atlantis. Aquaman suggests Green Lantern should use his brightness as a lure to draw Parademons away from the tower which would allow the rest of the League to gain access to the tower. Green Lantern objects to being told what to do. Lantern questions what Aquaman can do since most of the League already have powers that can be used in this situation. After getting a demonstration, where Aquaman uses his ability to communicate with undersea life to tell sharks to eat some approaching Parademons, they hold off the Parademons while also fighting the military who have been told to engage all non-humans including superheroes.

Meanwhile Cyborg is making his way through the streets. He encounters Parademons threatening a woman. He attempts to stop them. As he does so his cybernetic operating system again detects unassimilated data. It reaches into a Parademon’s mouth and makes contact with a Fatherbox. It downloads data which it translates into the orders the Parademons have been given and the intentions they have for humans. The cybernetic operating system then locates the signal source and initiates a Boom Tube which transports Cyborg away.

The Justice League debates how to handle the men shooting at them and decides to get them out of the helicopters and to safety away from the Parademons. Green Lantern inadvertently touches Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth which causes him to tell the truth and reveal that he does what he does as Green Lantern to impress people. They are interrupted by the Boom Tube arrival of Cyborg who tries to warn them of an already approaching Darkseid who has now appeared in front of them. He unleashes a violent explosion which renders the heroes unconscious before announcing “I am Darkseid.”

Trivia

  • Trevor is mistakenly referred to as "Captain" throughout the Helicopter Scene. In addition, a Sergeant, or the Gunner, would never speak to a Colonel in such a way.
