- You came to me and told me you wanted art. Well this was going to be my masterpiece. Made just for you. That was my plan... my perfect, beautiful plan. And it's nothing compared to what The Batman Who Laughs is going to do to you.

Synopsis for "Legion of Doom: Part Three"
In the recent past, the Joker conspires to poison Gotham City with a new strain of his Joker Venom. He returns to his office where he finds Lex Luthor waiting for him with an offer. He scrutinises Joker's plan and presents him with an alternative, pure cosmic power - enough to reshape the universe. In response, the Joker leaps onto the table and unleashes his new, incredibly potent, strain of venom and he tells Luthor that he has one condition; that the The Batman Who Laughs does not join the team and that they do not work with it.
In the present day, Luthor speaks with the Batman Who Laughs about Perpetua and the worlds beyond the Source Wall, little does Luthor know that the Joker is secretly watching them both.
The Legion of Doom hold a recruitment drive following Black Manta exclusion from the team. They summon an array of villains to their lair but before Luthor can join them Riddler finds a conspicuous present and opens it releasing plumes of Joker's venom into the base. Luthor tries to reach out to the other members of the Legion but finds them all corrupted by the Joker's gas except the Clown Prince himself. The Joker mocks Luthor for his stupidity regarding the Batman Who Laughs and reveals that he had not just created a torture chamber on-board the Hall of Doom, but had transformed the entire base into a torture chamber.
Various villains attack Luthor causing him to be distracted, enough that the Joker could sneak out of the toxin and knock Luthor unconscious with the Totality.
Luthor wakes chained up in front of the entire Legion (who had been rendered docile by the Joker's poisons). Joker reveals his plan was to take the Legion down from the inside he created chambers intended to almost kill the members just for them to escape before the Joker teleported them all into the centre of the Sun. He had made plans to leave a trail for Batman and Superman - this was to be his masterpiece, but nothing compared to the danger and destruction of the Batman Who Laughs and instead of killing Lex. The Joker releases an anti-toxin and leaves the base.
After returning to normal, the Legion wonder what to do next; their team's numbers are diminished but Lex has a plan. He contacts Professor Ivo for his secret ally, together they reawaken Brainiac.
