Synopsis for "Justice/Doom War, Part 5"
The Past. Atlantis.
With an incredible speech, John Stewart convinced Vandal Savage in allying himself with the League and the JSA: he will help Starman deliver the Totality thanks to the Conch of Arion, while Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the JSA will fight off the Legion of Doom and their chained Poseidon. Their plan works, and this era's Starman is finally reaching his counterpart in the present.
One of Brainiac's bottled futures. Metropolis
Brainiac One Million looks unbeatable, but Kamandi found a way to recruit all the Leagues he found in all the futures Brainiac bottled. A team of epic proportion is able to hold the gigantic version of Brainiac off for enough time to allow the Justice Legion's Starman to connect with Will in the Present.
The Present. The borders of the Universe
Will just opened a grid of Starmen spreading through space and time, and thanks to this connection all the remaining Totality power flows now in him. He's ready to open the portals and bring the two League teams back, so they step inside the portals, Barry and John bringing the JSA, and the other team bringing Kamandi. As they approach the place where the Ultra-Monitor and Perpetua are fighting, Starman calls for Hawkgirl: he needs her power to speed up the opening of the portals, and they will be able to lock Perpetua away again.
But Kendra is full of rage and grudge, and she sees Lex vulnerable for a lethal attack. She decides to kill him once and for all, to make him pay. And this decision costs the League and Justice their plan: with the whole Universe siding with Doom, the seventh force is completely unlocked and Perpetua is alive, completely, after billions of years. With all her might and power, she kills Starman and then she's able to turn the Ultra-Monitor again in a servant, exploiting the Anti-Monitor's hate for his brothers, a wound still open since Perpetua was first imprisoned.
Justice has lost, and Doom reigns supreme...
