The Justice League of America, also known as the Super Friends, are the world's greatest super-team.
History
They also train young heroes every so often, and they are so popular there's a set of trading cards featuring them, their friends and foes.
Some of their worst enemies formed the Legion of Doom. After several repeated and usuccessful attempts to destroy the League, Lex Luthor devised a new strategy: the seven members of the Legion disguised themselves as ghosts and started haunting the Hall of Justice. Unaware of who they were fighting, all Leaguers but Supergirl were shrunk by Brainiac's shrinking ray and traped in a bottle. Fortunately, Mystery, Inc., who had been called to investigate the case of haunting ghosts and disappearing Leaguers, helped the Leaguers escape. Once freed, the League quickly defeated the Legion and were restored to their normal size.[1]
