Synopsis for "Winner Takes Earth!"
Elongated Man, Green Arrow, Batman, and Atom are added to the list of defeated JLA members, as the Adaptoids proceed to take over the world. Just as they are about to finish off the Justice League in their own satellite headquarters. Hawkman returns from Thanagar with Hawkgirl, who exposes all present to the equalizing plague. As a result, the Adaptoids absorb the weaknesses of the heroes, who in turn are cured of their various battle injuries.
The Adaptoids are defeated, and both Hawkman and Hawkgirl resume their lives on Earth, while searching for a permanent cure for their fellow Thanagarians.
