Synopsis for "Missing- -One Man Of Steel!"

Superman has disappeared from Earth while the League fought Queen Bee and Sonar. Supergirl berates the group for doing nothing as her cousin is in danger because of a mysterious enemy that can kidnap them at any time.

Four-hundred light-years away, Superman is being transported by a strange energy beam to another world. The rulers of the planet Sirkus are under attack by flamebird-creatures commanded by Despero. Unable to summon the entire JLA to their aid, they have kidnapped Superman, and given him as fighting companions a group of Sirkusians disguised as the other League members -- Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman.

However, when the fake JLA "heroes" are easily overcome, Superman, who believes them to be his real comrades, is demoralized and is also beaten.
