Quote1 No apologies, Ray. We both said things we regret. You were unfair to me... But I was unfair to you, too. All the years you were The Atom you were pursuing your career, just as I pursued mine as a lawyer. I once told you I wouldn't marry until I'd established myself in the law, and that was as unfair as your secret... Maybe more so. But love is about learning about yourself and your loved one... So let's keep on learning about ourselves... Now, and for all our tomorrows. Quote2

Justice League of America #157 is an issue of the series Justice League of America (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1978.

Synopsis for "Till Doom Do Us Part"

On the eve of his wedding, Ray Palmer, having discussed the problem with his fellow members (as seen in the previous few issues), reveals his secret identity to his bride-to-be, Jean Loring. Meanwhile, the Phantom Stranger interrupts the Justice League's wedding preparations to warn that Mauri the Love-goddess, one of the four god-like foes of their most recent case, had tricked them with an illusion and had not been returned to "hibernation" with her fellow deities.

At the site of the sunken island from where these gods came, Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, and Phantom Stranger battle Maun's new followers, while Green Lantern and Red Tornado, who bring Solovar of Gorilla City to the wedding, have a disastrous encounter with Mauri. Invading the JLA satellite, the villainess takes control of Superman and all the other male super-heroes. After a heart-to-heart talk with a very distraught Jean Loring, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Black Canary join forces to battle the crazed heroes, and defeat Mauri, returning her to her "hibernation" state with the aid of the Phantom Stranger. Then, with the entire League attending in their civilian identities, Ray Palmer and Jean Loring are wed.
