Synopsis for "The Mystery of Spaceman X!"
The Justice League is called away to three planets of a distant star system to destroy doom machines that imperil those planets' inhabitants. Each group of the League believes themselves to have failed and returns to Earth to find a giant spaceman acting strangely benevolent.
Realizing that Spaceman X is really a robot the League tries to find the source of its control. It's revealed that the spaceman's spaceship is actually a living being in disguise and has been using the robot to channel energy to become invulnerable. Superman is able to defeat him with his super strength, rendering the Spaceman X inert, and ending its threat.
