"The Super-Crisis That Struck Earth-Two!": On Earth-Two, four beings are given super-powers by mysterious black spheres, and thus Gem Girl, How Chu, Money Master, and the [[Martin Baxter (Earth-Two)|Smashing

Justice League of America #55 is an issue of the series Justice League of America (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1967. It was published on June 13, 1967.

Synopsis for "The Super-Crisis That Struck Earth-Two!"

On Earth-Two, four beings are given super-powers by mysterious black spheres, and thus Gem Girl, How Chu, Money Master, and the Smashing Sportsman are born and begin to terrorize various cities in the world. While at the headquarters of the Justice Society of America, the group is welcoming Robin into their ranks when they receive reports of the various criminals rampages.

While Robin and Wildcat fight the Smashing Sportsman, Mr. Terrific and Hawkman take on Money Master, Wonder Woman takes on Gem Girl, and Hourman against How Chu. Each one is easily defeated by their opponents and is forced to retreat back to JSA headquarters. There they find Johnny Thunder with his Thunderbolt. Johnny suggests that they call in their friends the Justice League from Earth-One to help them on their current case. When the Thunderbolt brings Superman, Flash, Green Arrow, and Green Lantern, where were just in a battle against similar beings on their own Earth.
