Quote1 I'm not saying it's our time. But eventually -- they'll need us again. I'm talking about the League. It's the true beauty of what we created, Arthur -- for all its changes -- the League never really changes. Quote2

Notes

  • This issue shipped with two alternating split covers of equal ratio by Alex Ross, as well as a retailer's incentive variant edition with a cover illustration by Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald.
  • Final Brad Meltzer issue.
  • This issue gives special thanks to Joe Prado.
  • This issue includes "" #74, which is nothing more than a post-it note which reads, "Vacationing off Planet! Back in two weeks! --DD"
  • The closing two-page spread of this issue includes a small dedication by Brad Meltzer to JLA creators Gardner Fox, Mike Sekowsky and Julius Schwartz. It concludes with the words "Never the End".
  • Once more, as in Justice League of America (Volume 2) #0, there is a flashback to the events of Justice League of America #9 when the the original League was transformed into trees. Aquaman mentions how Hal is the only member on the current League who was a founding member of the original, and that Diana, Clark and Bruce are "different", a tongue-in-cheek nod to the fact those character's histories were not retained after the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Trivia

  • Reddy walks in on Roy and Kendra having sex for the first time, despite Power Girl confiding in Roy not to get involved with the Hawks,[1] and Dinah warning Kendra not to hurt Roy in this issue.
