Lex insults Black Lightning, causing him sends a thunderclap towards Lex. Lex is revealed to be a hologram.

Lex shows up again and Superman asks what Lex wants from him. Lex answers that it's self-evident. He wants Superman's angry and Lex reveals his plan; that he needs Superman so angry that his powers will make no difference later on. Lex uncovers how he intends to do that, up comes an enormous video feed of the Justice League being tormented. Superman is being held back by Black Lightning and video feeds of Shaggy Man torturing Geo-Force gets Superman to demand Lex to reveal to him where they are. Be that as it may, Lex stops the hologram and tells Superman to find him.

The them two were tracking his coordinates and they recognize the hologram projections when it detonates in Superman's face and a small amount of kryptonite paint hits his face.

In the Hall of Doom, Lex questions Joker about the kryptonite paint and Joker answers that Lex wanted to make Superman mad and jokes about it. Lex stops him and Cheetah tells Lex about Grodd practically killing Geo-Force. Lex stops Grodd and he answers that it's enjoyable to hit him. In any case, Lex reveals to him that nobody is to murder anybody until Superman is caught. Grood goes along and talks of eating him after he softened Geo-Force's body. Joker says that that is something he would want to see. Lex then values Grodd's patience and includes that these recordings of them being humiliated will be vital in achieving their long term goals.

Back with Superman and Black Lightning, he is washing off the kryptonite paint off Superman's face with water and he asks what plan they have. Superman answers that he is going to dismantle them and Black Lightning includes he will bring in the stores. Be that as it may, Superman says that there is no time. Dark Lightning buts in, advising Superman to relax on the grounds that Lex is simply driving him mad deliberately. He discloses to Superman that Lex realizes how to press his catches and Superman answers that Black Lightning is totally objective about Lex. Dark Lightning deviates, saying that he has lost a couple because of him. The them two at that point consent to take on Lex without anyone else. They fly towards the Hall of Doom and keeping in mind that Black Lightning sets down his plane, Superman shoots through and goes for Parasite first, hurling towards the sky.

Lex orders everybody to secure the prisoners and Black Lightning roll in from behind, blasting a few enemies. Lex claims he is only bait and Black Lightning strikes Lex and has him in an electric sphere. Cheetah orders Killer Frost to attack him however she cannot and Cheshire steps him. Dr. Light battles with Superman, claiming he is not faster than light. The villains pile up on Superman, rendering him unconscious.

Lex then says, "I’d hate for you to miss what comes next…" while holding a shard of kryptonite to his face.
