Lex shows up again and Superman asks what Lex wants from him. Lex answers that it's self-evident. Lex uncovers how he intends to do that, up comes an enormous video feed of the Justice League being tormented. Superman is being held back by Black Lightning and video feeds of Shaggy Man torturing Geo-Force gets Superman to demand Lex to reveal to him where they are. Be that as it may, Lex stops the hologram and tells Superman to find him.

The two were tracking his coordinates and they recognize the hologram projections when it detonates in Superman's face and a small amount of kryptonite paint hits his face.

In the Hall of Doom, Lex questions Joker about the kryptonite paint and Joker answers that Lex wanted to make Superman mad and jokes about it. Dr. Light battles with Superman, claiming he is not faster than light. The villains pile up on Superman, rendering him unconscious.

Lex then says, "I'd hate for you to miss what comes next…" while holding a shard of kryptonite to his face.
