Notes

  1. The Mechanix aren't the source of the collision of a planet with its respective sun anymore, Starbreaker himself is;
  2. In the retcon, there is no reference to stand-by starships retransmitting energy from planetary destructions to Starbreaker, or the villain sell surplus energy to other planets;
  3. In the original tale no JLAer had done anything to directly halt the collision course of the Earth with our Sun, seemingly the Earth itself returned to its natural orbit when Starbreaker was defeated; in the retcon, Superman and Green Lantern used their powers to keep Earth in its natural orbit while other JLAers fought Starbreaker;
  4. Sargon takes no real participation in the retelling, although he was aware, among other magic-users about the danger; he was instrumental to the JLA victory in the original tale by channelling the positive feelings of the humanity against Starbreaker and boost the JLAers;
  5. In the retcon Atom doesn't shrink and enter inside Starbreaker's head;
  6. The hope of bystanders by itself seems to affect Starbreak in the retcon;
  7. Starbreaker have not time-traveled with JLAers to 3 different time periods;
  8. In the retcon, Aquaman gave the final blow against Starbreaker; in the original tale, it was Batman.
