Synopsis for "Power and Glory, Part Seven"
After sending Rao's ship into the moon, Superman, in a fit of rage, sends Rao hurling back towards Earth. Rao claims that Superman had actually hurt him, but Rao reveals that the punishment Superman had unleashed on him has killed thousand of followers as they are still connected to Rao. Rao then dares him to fight back. Wonder Woman and Aquaman then appear to help fight Rao. Superman warns them to not attack as it will kill his followers and not him. They send Rao into a boom tube where it is explained that while Superman was in Rao's ship, Batman had told him his plan via Superman's super-hearing. Sending Rao through the boom tube to the same powerplant the Justice League had fought Parasite before. The Flash, now having returned to the present in the Infinity Corporation Building, uses his Speed Force energy on Parasite to generate enough power for the powerplant. They let Parasite steal as much power as possible, and just like the previous battle, use the powerplant to to drain him and Rao's stolen power. In doing so, it disconnects Rao to his followers, leaving him powerless. Rao, needing to connect to his followers, goes to the Stones of Forever in the Infinity Corporation Building. Vincent, Alexis Martin and Jane Jones realize that Rao wants the Stones and that this is "where the end starts." Wonder Woman attempts to awaken Superman, only to realize he is now dead.
