Synopsis for "Injustice League Unlimited: Chapter 1"

The issue begins with hidden shots of three figures. Lex Luthor, Joker, and Cheetah. They are examining who will shape the new Injustice League. This discussion occurred 10 days earlier.

The story at that point jumps forward to Green Lantern and Red Arrow struggling to pay for the strippers for Ollie's bachelor party. Batman, as always, rescues them and the gathering is eventually moved to the Hall of Justice. At the party, John Stewart and Hal Jordan talk about the eventual fate of their obligations on earth with respect to the alliance and GL all in all.

The story then jumps to Manhattan where Firestorm is trapped by Killer Frost. They fight and Frost rapidly gains the upper hand by freezing Firestorm's hands. He counters by transforming the ground into anti-freeze so Frost can't freeze anything. The tides change when Joker, Cheetah, and Lex show up and Joker utilizes his Joker Gas to prevent Firestorm's from using his powers. They nearly him and retreat back to the Hall of Doom where the Injustice League Unlimited is gathering.

At Dinah's bachelorette party, Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl get word that Firestorm has been hospitalized and go see him. Meanwhile, Batman and Red Arrow go to the location of the scene of the crime to investigate. Joker and Fatality ambush them and gain the upper hand. At the medical clinic, Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl are ambushed by Killer Frost and Dr. Light. Marvel Woman endures a serious beating, and Hawkgirl scarcely get away and goes to find support. She advises the male leaguers, still at Ollie's gathering of what has occurred and Superman gives the words "the party's over!"
