Synopsis for "Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2"
At the headquarters of Task Force X, Amanda Waller observes footage from the Titan invasion, now known as "G-Day". She has decided that she won't allow such an event to happen again, which is why she has gathered the Suicide Squad, consisting of captured villains like Harley Quinn, Black Manta, and even Lex himself, are for a new mission. An unnamed colonel has been brought to serve as a liaison between the Squad and his own agency, the Human Defense Corps, an organization of metahumans completely loyal to the U.S. government. Their plan is to create their own defense system that doesn't involve rogue metas or Titans that can be influenced to fight on humanity's behalf.
Meanwhile, Barry and Iris celebrate their wedding on a church in Missouri. The majority of the Justice League have to watch the ceremony from the Hall of Justice, but Clark, Lois, Hal and the other Flashes are allowed to assist to the wedding personally, for they already know Barry and their presence wouldn't arouse suspicion that he is the Flash. Barry's fellow heroes observe that he hasn't told Iris about his secret identity, but Barry takes a few seconds to speed away from the ceremony to tell his friends that he will inform her, sooner or later.
When Barry and Iris begin their first dance as husband and wife, he tries to tell her but backs out at the last minute, still feeling nervous about his secret. Lois gets a call from Mercy, who informs her that Lex has gone missing even though he is supposed to be in prison. Clark is surprised that Mercy can't find Lex even with Lexcorp's resources and Lois replies that her only lead is a set of geocoordinates that might reveal his location. She explains that Mercy helped Lois during the Titan invasion and now, Mercy needs help from Superman.
The Justice League has received Mercy's coordinates and has sent out a team consisting of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Supergirl and Mr. Terrific to the Nevada desert. Lois has come along as support. Superman and Supergirl detect a secret underground base with their X-ray vision and Mr. Terrific unlocks it. Flash quickly identifies the base as belonging to the Human Defense Corps.
As the League ventures into the base, Batman and Mr. Terrific figure out that the HDC converted their Boom Tube into a multiversal portal and it was last used 36 hours ago. Lex is probably on the other side. Flash prepares to do recon but Superman and Lois remind him that he still needs to have that important talk with Iris. The League decides to cross the portal together, but Mr. Terrific will stay behind to monitor the situation.
The Justice League has arrived at Skull Island, and Batman, as a precaution, has turned the Batwing into a combat robot to explore the area. Such precaution proves warranted, as bat-like Titans attack the League. Kong is attracted to the Titan activity in the area and arrives to impose order. Flash believes Kong should remember the League, but something has made him angry.
Four years have passed after G-Day and Task Force X begins an experiment at Cape Town Stadium in South Africa. The experiment, conducted by Lex and the Enchantress, combines science and the arcane and involves King Shark as a test subject. Waller and the Colonel observe the experiment from their command center and Waller instructs Enchantress to evacuate Lex should the experiment fail. Enchantress activates the arcane power source and begins experiment, which turns King Shark into a giant, mindless beast. As King Shark rampages though the city, Godzilla emerges from the sea and challenges King Shark to a fight. Lex observes that the "Titanizing" process increases physical mass at the cost of synaptic activity and Enchantress evacuates him from the area.
The Colonel informs Waller that Harley and Captain Cold have acquired the necessary data to begin phase two of their operation, but Waller believes they are still not ready for that. With some effort, Godzilla subdues King Shark, who quickly reverts to his original size, for the Titanizing process is just temporary. Godzilla, no longer perceiving King Shark as a threat, returns to the sea and the Colonel declares the experiment a success and tells Lex to prepare for phase two. Enchantress watches Kong from their monitor and comes to the conclusion that something has disturbed him. Waller, for her part, believes that the Colonel is hiding something from her, but he shoots her. He identifies himself as Leland Lafayette Shaw III and now, he will take command of Task Force X.
