- As much as I hate to admit it... Caitlin Snow proves there is value in Task Force X. I may have... midjudged your... Suicide Squad. There's room in the world for both of our teams.

Synopsis for "Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, Conclusion"
With all looking lost as Eclipso begins to exercise his complete domination, Batman and Killer Frost hatch up a plan to refract Superman's heat blast through an ice prism which would convert it to sunlight and override Eclipso's darkness.
Before they can trigger it a possessed Suicide Squad face them though Batman taunts Superman into shooting into the prism which provides a temporary break from Eclipso's spell, enough time for everyone to lend Frost a little bit of power to finish off the monster. As Eclipso grabs her she unleashes one final blast with all her energy that allows the others to finish him off.
Laid on the ground Frost is on the verge of dying from a lack of energy and Waller orders her to absorb Max Lord's essence killing him. With a last breath she refuses and collapses next to the enemy.
Inside Belle Reve the two teams relax as Superman sits by Frost's bed congratulating her and congratulating her sacrifice. Elsewhere Batman corners Waller and demands she release Frost so she can join the Justice League, Waller succumbs once Batman admits he was wrong about the Squad. Batman then makes his way to Lobo on the roof where Lobo offers Batman one free contract - any job. Instead Batman asks him to join the League too, entrapping him within the contract.
Later Max wakes up inside a cell where he realises that he was not the mastermind behind it all, it was Waller who revealed the location of the first Suicide Squad and where the Heart of Darkness was just to legitimise the Suicide Squad in the eyes of the Justice League, though her loose ends were sloppy - even involving the Heart falling into the hands of an unknown child.
As Waller walks away she invites him to join her new Task Force XI.
