So, this Great Darkness is happening now, and then it happens again a thousand years from now?

Synopsis for "The Gold Lantern Saga, Part One"
The legion of Super heroes is fighting a Garfu, a creature coming from the steroids belt of Orion. When they finally imprison this creature a strange event happen. Braniac 5 describe it as the great darkness called Madamhonor. One of the three Luornu Durgo is sucked away from the rest of the Legionaries, leaving the whole team baffled as they call the help of Jon Kent. Meanwhile, the same thing happen to the Justice League. A Madamhonor happens and Wonder Woman is almost sucked away by it. She describe it as "Someone was pulling me" when the whole event cease. Casually one of the three Lournu Durgo land exactly next to the Justice league. Baffled by what happened even the Justice League calls the help of Jon Kent who in that moment is with the Legionaries.
Jon Kent would meet with them, finding the two remaining parts of Luornu Durgo arguing about the merge that they should do. Jon explain to them that Braniac 5 should come with him on Earth to witness what is happening but the whole team decide to follow them and they all move to Heart where the Justice League and The Legion of Super-Heroes would finally meet for the first time.
The Legion of Super-Hero is amazed to find the third part of Luornu Durgo there, but they also noticed the fact that the part that travelled to Earth is way older than the other two parts and the trio decide that it isn't the best thing to Merge. While the two teams starts to get to know each Other a new Madamhonor starts, sucking away the whole Justice League and Legion of Super-Heroes leaving behind only Gold Lantern
