The Justice Society Dark was an obscure superhero team with ties to the Justice Society of America that was active in the 1940s.

History

In addition to the super-escape artist Mister Miracle, the team's roster included Zatara and Diamond Jack, who had a contentious relationship with each other. In 1941, they were sought out by Doctor Fate of the Justice Society of America to help resolve the "Limbo Town Curse" afflicting his young sidekick Salem the Witch Girl, an effort which was ultimately not successful. When Salem later vanished, the Society worked with Fate to search for her, once again to no avail. Though the group's operations were largely unknown to outsiders, their 1945 case "the Storm of Sin" was of relatively-greater renown.
