Synopsis for "Vengeance from the Stars!: Chapter Two: The Sack of Gotham"
While Alan Scott, Vice President and General Manager of the Gotham Broadcasting Company, goes on the air to explain the intermittent power failures, looters in Gotham City and taken down by Black Canary. She intercepts a police broadcast about a burglary in progress at the Gotham Museum of Natural History - a message that ends in gunfire. Black Canary responds finding injured and dead policemen and security guards. She finds three criminals stealing ancient Egyptian artifacts and defeats them. She inspects the "Crown of Cheops" on which are carvings of a bird, a winged horse, and a bearded man with a club holding a dog. A plaque dates the crown to around 2000 BC and attributing Cheops with being "the originator of the worship of celestial beings." Her inspection is interrupted by a fourth criminal and Solomon Grundy who attacks.
Back at the Mt. Pride Observatory, the Master Villain taunts Ted Knight over the defeat (and possible death) of the Flash. The villain, who is wielding Ted's Gravity Rod, reveals that Ted and the new observatory were part of his plan and he tosses a fake beard onto Ted's desk. Using the Gravity Rod and the telescope, the villain is able to summon a third constellation being, Sagittarius, to Earth.
Black Canary and Grundy continue to fight throughout, and eventually outside, the Museum. Though she sustains injuries to her ribs, Canary manages to hold her own through the difficult fight but ultimately she is knocked unconscious by one of the henchmen. Grundy is distracted by watching his old foe, Green Lantern, squaring off against Sagittarius in the skies above.

Notes
- The story takes place sometime in the year 1950.
- Much of issues 2, 3 and 4 occur simultaneously. Much of issues 5 and 6 also occur simultaneously.
- For the bulk of the series, Ted Knight is shown in a wheelchair. He implies this is a result of injuries that occurred early in Issue #1; it is later revealed to be a feint.
- In this issue, the Master Villain "implies" that he was disguised as the doomsayer from the previous issue. This seems unlikely as the doomsayer's arms and legs were bone-thin and the villain is depicted as muscular, though no other explanation is offered.
Trivia
- The issue features "The Secret Origin of a Miniseries - Part 2" in which Mike Gold recounts how the miniseries developed.
