Clark Kent (real name Kal-El) is an alien originally from the dying planet Krypton and brought to and raised on Earth. He is better known as the superhero Superman.
History
When Kal-El was a baby his parents Jor-El and Lara-El put him on a ship to be sent to Earth before Krypton exploded. An alien parasite named Starro escapes from containment in Jor-El's laboratory and hides on the ship before being sent to Earth, but falls off the ship midway through its journey. The spaceship lands in Kansas, where Jonathan and Martha Kent raise Kal-El, naming him Clark. Clark discovers that he has superhuman abilities and becomes Superman. He meets Batman and reveals his identity to Lois Lane; The two marry and have a son named Jonathan in honor of his late adoptive father's name.
Years later, the Kents live in Smallville. When Clark got home, his son helped him with chores on the farm. Later that night, Superman saves the Justice League Watchtower from falling out of orbit after being hit by space debris. Then Superman quickly leaves to save Japan from a tsunami. After returning just on Jon's birthday, he feels bad for not being at his baseball game as promised. Deciding that it is time for him to know the truth, Clark tries to talk to his son, but Jon is very upset and goes out the window, just as he experiences a vision of heat destroying the water tower. Clark appears before his son on the farm in his Superman suit and his son was impressed.
He then flies him through the skies to Gotham City to see Batman, and finds him fighting the Penguin. Batman takes them to the Batcave and Clark introduces him to Batman's son Damian Wayne. While Batman discusses Jon's powers, Superman sees that Damian shot his son to test his powers. he asks if the Green Arrow was able to contact him about last night, but he received nothing from him. Contacting Green Arrow, they notice that something is wrong there and decide to go investigate and Superman takes Jon home. They arrive at the Watchtower, and are attacked and infected by Martian Manhunter possessed by Starro.
A possessed Superman contacts a possessed Batman, reporting that the Southern Hemisphere has been taken. They later appear in the Watchtower and fight against their sons, fighting Damian, burning his hand using Batman's insurance policy, and managing to knock him out. Then they put their parents on the ship, to take them and the other possessed superheroes out of the Watchtower, and take it out of orbit to destroy Starro. He wakes up and removes the spore from his face with Batman's help and sees that the hive mind is losing its power, just as they realize the children are there. Superman saves them by grabbing a part of the Watchtower and landing it on Earth. He reunites with his son and is very proud that everyone is safe for him and what a superhero does. When they see that Starro is alive, Superman with the help of Jon throws him like a ball into space.
Shortly after, Clark decides to attend Jon's baseball game, leaving an emergency for The Flash.
