Kal, the Super-Martian, was a member of the Justice Titans.[2] He was also the partner of Batman (Lex Luthor).[1]

Super-Martian's ancestors were born of Mars, but they lived alongside Kryptonians. Many lineages, such as his, were intertwined.[1]

His and Batman's base of operations looked like a mix of Batcave and Fortress of Solitude, and they were served by a robot butler named Fred.[1]

Super-Martian was among the many Supermen of the multiverse who were kidnapped by the Prophecy to steal their powers, but they were freed by the Justice Incarnate.[3][4]

Because Batman was a partner of a Martian, he was well acquainted with telepathy, which brought him constant headaches and also allowed him to notice the presence of Earth-0's Apex Lex inside their secret base accompanied by the young Alexander Luthor from Earth 38, since Apex Lex had absorbed Martian Manhunter and his powers. When Super-Martian sent a signal via the Super-Bat Signal Watch, due to his telepathy having been somehow blocked, he discovered that the purpose of Apex Lex was to convince him to rescue his partner from the attack of Earth 45's Doomthor and thus, in the words of Apex Lex, get out of his shadow, what Apex Lex considered to be his weakness. The Batman of the past, when he was alone, would immediately run to Kal, but he acted rationally and fought Apex Lex, who left with the certainty that the Luthor of Earth-32 was doomed. After Apex Lex's departure, Batman was ready to help his partner.[1]
